About the role:

We are looking for a high-performing individual to support our growing North American distribution network. This individual will oversee the distribution matters of the retail business. This includes ensuring orders are processed at the distribution center, fulfilled, and then delivered to the end customer. You will be responsible for compliant and highly efficient order fulfillment and will serve as the subject matter expert about questions on fulfillment. You will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders on order management, process improvement, cost savings, and NPI initiatives. The role will exercise all areas of your skillset; operational, analytics & reporting, soft skills, project management, risk assessment, etc.! This position is remote and reports to the Senior Manager, Distribution.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to distribution, implementing corrective actions to improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct audits to ensure retail partner compliance, developing SOPs aimed at reducing compliance charges and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze and minimize accessorial and compliance charges to below 1% of total revenue, leveraging data insights to address root causes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across internal distribution processes, third-party logistics (3PLs), and kitting partners, using data analytics to drive efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Promote a customer-centric approach within the distribution network, implementing process improvements that enhance distribution partner performance and retail customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Streamline distribution processes by collaborating with cross-functional teams including supply chain, inventory planning, retail, and accounting/finance to implement joint improvement initiatives and improve the overall customer experience.

This should describe you:

    • 2+ years of experience working in distribution
    • Numerically and analytically minded - experience in Excel
    • Strong attention to detail. You are comfortable going deep into the weeds while always considering the bigger picture
    • Sense of urgency: bias for taking action. Self-starting capability required to achieve high expectations in a fast-paced environment
    • Comfortable making informed decisions with imperfect information
