Job Description
Develop new products and provide technical support to production plants and customers. Analyze substances to determine their composition and concentration of elements. Conduct tests on materials and other substances to ensure that safety and quality standards are met.
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Two (2) years of experience in the offered role, or a related position. Minimum requirement, a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the offered role, or a related position. Must have two (2) years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

Job Description
Develop new products and provide technical support to production plants and customers. Analyze substances to determine their composition and concentration of elements. Conduct tests on materials and other substances to ensure that safety and quality standards are met.
- Independently develop new specialty chemical products and industrial materials according to customer specifications in the construction and industrial markets.
- Develop DOE (Design of Experiments) and design FEMA for product development.
- Define new product QA requirements to ensure product quality and performance.
- Transfer new products/technologies to the Processing group.
- Perform initial material testing and gain material approvals from customers.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing plants to assure product quality.
- Hands-on industrial experience in polyester concrete overlays, cement-based mortars, mortar/concrete admixtures, and concrete products;
- Experience with specific laboratory equipment for testing mortars, polyester concrete, and normal concrete products; and
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management.
- Strong presentation skills. Excellent technical and business writing skills.
- Excellent skills in DOE, Design FEMA, and other quality programs.
- Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management.
