As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for our client, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the organization’s overall financial strategy, ensuring that financial functions are aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The CFO will lead all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. This role will ensure robust financial controls are in place, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and that financial operations support the company’s mission and growth objectives.


What you will do:


Strategic Financial Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the organization’s financial policies, providing strategic direction to ensure financial stability and growth.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, COO, and other leaders to shape corporate vision and strategy, driving initiatives that support overall corporate goals.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis, guiding investment strategies and evaluating financial performance against strategic objectives.


Financial Operations Management:

  • Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury functions.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Implement and monitor financial controls to safeguard assets, enhance accuracy, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.


Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Ensure that the organization complies with financial regulations and standards, mitigating risks related to financial operations.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, investors, and other financial. consultants, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.
  • Oversee insurance programs to protect the organization’s assets and manage risk effectively.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Mentor and guide finance team members, promoting professional development and ensuring succession planning.


Corporate Strategy and Growth:

  • Contribute to the development of corporate strategy and vision, driving financial initiatives that support organizational growth and sustainability.
  • Lead efforts to evaluate and execute potential mergers, acquisitions, and other business development opportunities.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.


What you need:

  • Advanced degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field required. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive role preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership finance role within the healthcare industry, preferably within the pharmacy and/or PBM industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in managing complex financial operations within a dynamic and fast-paced growing organization.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience leading others.
