Job Overview – Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Our distribution client in New Jersey, is seeking an experienced and innovative Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations. This full-time role demands a self-starter with strong project management skills and a proactive approach to financial strategy and reporting.

Compensation: $250,000/year + bonus

Location: Essex County, NJ

Responsibilities as the CFO:

• Financial Leadership: Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Loan Management: Manage and optimize asset-based loans, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Analytical Oversight: Analyze spending and implement strategies to optimize financial performance.
• Logistics & Wholesale: Provide financial insights and guidance to support logistics and wholesale operations.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications for the CFO:

• Experience: 15+ years of experience in financial management within a distribution or similar industry.
• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, project management capabilities, and ability to think outside the box.
• Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of logistics and wholesale operations.
