We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with a strong background in retail and eCommerce to lead our marketing strategy and drive our next phase of growth.


Job Description:


As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at SwayID, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. You will play a critical role in positioning SwayID as the leading solution in the evolving landscape of influencer marketing. This role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of retail and eCommerce markets, as well as experience in scaling marketing efforts in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a holistic marketing strategy that aligns with SwayID’s business goals, focusing on brand positioning, market penetration, and customer acquisition.
  • Retail and eCommerce Expertise: Leverage your deep knowledge of the retail and eCommerce industries to craft targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audiences and drive measurable results.
  • Brand Positioning: Enhance and maintain SwayID’s brand identity as the only FTC-compliant influencer marketing solution, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email marketing, to maximize online presence and lead generation.
  • Growth Marketing: Implement data-driven growth marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty, with a strong focus on ROI and performance metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, product, and compliance teams to align marketing initiatives with company objectives and ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve business goals while maintaining cost-efficiency.


Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the retail or eCommerce sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of retail and eCommerce markets, including current trends, consumer behavior, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive significant growth and market penetration in retail and eCommerce.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform marketing decisions and measure performance.
  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.


Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $180,000 - $210,000 per year
  • Equity/Stock Options: Competitive equity package, dependent on experience and contribution
  • Bonus/Performance Incentives: Potential bonuses tied to performance metrics such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and marketing ROI
