Chief Marketing Officer


Join an industry-leading company in the financial services technology space and play a pivotal role in shaping its global marketing strategy. We are recruiting for a dynamic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead and align the marketing organization with the company's overall strategic direction, while executing operationally to achieve growth targets. This is an exciting opportunity to join the executive leadership team and contribute to the strategic and operational success of a fast-growing, financially stable market leader in fraud prevention and authentication technology.


Position Summary:


As the CMO, you will be responsible for driving the company's global marketing strategy, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring the company maintains a best-in-class marketing organization. Your key priorities will include driving growth across the existing client base and new customer acquisition, while improving the company’s market positioning and overall brand presence. This role oversees the entire marketing function, including demand generation, product marketing, communications, and marketing operations.


You will report directly to the CEO and will be part of the executive leadership team, collaborating closely with sales, product management, finance, and other cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of adapting to different management levels and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive results.


Candidate Profile:


The ideal candidate is a motivated and experienced marketing executive with a successful track record of leading global marketing teams in B2B tech environments. They have demonstrated success in scaling marketing functions, developing demand generation strategies, and improving market positioning for high-growth companies. Experience in financial services or fraud prevention technology is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Global Marketing Strategy: Lead and refine the company’s marketing strategy to drive growth, focusing on targeted segmentation strategies for both customer retention and new client acquisition.
  • Demand Generation: Oversee lead generation activities across multiple channels, particularly digital media, ensuring consistent pipeline growth for the sales team.
  • Product & Portfolio Marketing: Partner with internal teams and external influencers to create compelling content for both internal use and customer-facing materials, with a focus on sales enablement.
  • Communications & Brand: Drive external communications, including public and media relations, while refining and operationalizing the company’s brand positioning.
  • Marketing Operations: Establish and track key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and initiatives, ensuring efficiency and scalability. Manage the marketing budget and align resources effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and manage a talented marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other executives and departments to ensure marketing efforts align with broader company goals, especially in partnership with sales, product, and operations teams.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 12+ years of senior marketing leadership experience in a B2B tech environment, preferably in financial services or related industries.
  • Proven success in driving demand generation and revenue growth in a competitive landscape.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Experience in a private equity or high-growth environment is a plus.
