Lead the Charge in Global Supply Chain Strategy in Renewable Energy

This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team, develop innovative strategies, and build crucial partnerships that will elevate our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Act as the primary liaison between manufacturing organizations, federal agencies, and internal stakeholders to create and execute mid- to long-term procurement strategies.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of supply chain professionals, ensuring strategic goals are met and performance is driven.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to analyze procurement implications of legislative and regulatory developments, guiding business progression.
  • Global Sourcing: Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to guarantee timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services for multi-gigawatt solar and storage projects.
  • Supplier Partnerships: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing and potential OEM suppliers to maximize value and support growth objectives.
  • Industry Trends: Keep abreast of industry developments, emerging market trends, and innovations to consistently improve procurement strategies.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate physical and political risks, ensuring a continuous supply chain and stability among essential suppliers.
  • Strategic Relationships: Establish and maintain strategic relationships to facilitate access to global solar and storage suppliers and assist in expansion plans.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 12+ years in supply chain and/or procurement leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years in a strategic position within the solar and/or storage industry.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and managing international relationships in the solar and storage procurement sector.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. Comprehensive understanding of procurement best practices, manufacturing capabilities, regulatory requirements, and global supply and demand dynamics.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proficient analytical skills to interpret data, recognize trends, and offer strategic recommendations.
  • Executive Presence: Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with global audiences, including the capacity to present and influence C-Suite executives.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Economics, Engineering, or Global Supply Chain Management is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

Working Environment

  • Travel: Domestic and international travel required, up to 25%.
  • Location: Remote or hybrid work environment. No relocation necessary.
