Who We Are

Crowdwave is an exciting new product leveraging the power of LLMs to simulate audiences for consumer sentiment research. Before running costly human surveys to get feedback on new marketing materials, branding, product ideas, etc., companies and researchers use our product to quickly run surveys on virtual audiences representing specific consumer segments. AI allows for faster, lower-cost research, and unlocks additional types of studies such as iterative follow-up surveys, counterfactual comparisons, and lengthy or in-depth surveys that are impractical with human respondents.

Crowdwave’s team is drawn in part from Avenue Group, a leading research-driven advisory firm that specializes in delivering actionable insights to enhance decision-making processes for Fortune 500s, private equity firms, and mid-market companies. What You’ll Do

We are seeking an experienced product leader to guide the development of our AI-powered audience simulator as we complete a very promising beta stage. This role demands a strong sense of product strategy, the ability to prioritize quickly and lead teams through rapid iterations on a product, and an analytical mindset to help us make our models better as we revolutionize market research with AI. You will:

• Report directly to our CEO and founder and lead our product, development, and analytics teams (team of 5-8 people)
• Be a core decision maker on strategy across the Crowdwave business
• Own product direction and strategy, including our full product and technical roadmap, and be responsible for setting key product milestones to power our commercial teams
• Guide product requirements, design, and feature prioritization, including weighing in on technical tradeoffs
• Guide our analytics efforts, ensuring our product consistently delivers value by providing accurate results and that customers can and do put trust in Crowdwave
• Get your hands dirty as needed to ensure we maintain a rapid pace of delivery with high agility as we enter a new, competitive space

What We’re Looking For

• At least 8 years of experience in Product Management roles with at least 5 years leading teams
• Experience building products from 0-1
• A passion for creating products that customers enjoy using and that create real customer value
• The skills and knowledge to teach and empower PMs, designers, developers, and analytics, and the right mix of drive and humility to lead even where you aren’t the expert
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems creatively, and ability to go hands on with analytics when needed
• Direct experience with market research, including familiarity with basic survey tools/concepts and common challenges, pitfalls, and needs for market research professionals
• Ideally, B2B SaaS product and leadership experience

This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the leader for a new product with promising early market signs and a clear, concrete AI-based value proposition, setting new standards in research methodologies by integrating advanced AI technologies to simulate and understand behavior in unprecedented ways. Compensation will be a mix of cash and equity. This is a full time, contract position. Must be available to start immediately.
