Chief Solutions Architect – Public Sector

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Chief Solutions Architect to lead our customer architecture and engineering team, whose purpose it is to support and build strong relationships with TrustGrid customers by providing strategic guidance, technical expertise and best practice advice on TrustGrid’s product capabilities.

You will be instrumental in bringing our vision to life, ensuring that our customers can accelerate implementation time, maximize product adoption and business value, and achieve their overall business objectives.

Customer projects related to solutions will primarily be in the Public Sector environment, specifically targeting the US Federal government, DoD, and DISA. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of distributed ledger technology, including familiarity with Microsoft CCF, Hyperledger networks, and various cloud platforms. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a passion for technology to develop innovative solutions for TrustGrid. You will also play a crucial role in customer interactions, including demos, solution consulting, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Architecture: Develop technical architectures and designs for Blockchain and Web3 projects. Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure, aligning with business objectives.
• Technology Leadership: Become a trusted advisor, creating innovative solutions and providing best practice guidance to discover untapped functionality and new product opportunities.
• Project Delivery: Oversee the development and implementation of Blockchain projects from concept to deployment. Provide technical direction to the team on various TrustGrid solutions. Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Customer Interaction: Conduct demos, provide solution consulting, and deliver presentations to stakeholders, including US Federal government, DoD, and DISA clients.
• Research & Development: Stay abreast of new trends and advancements in Decentralized Identity, Blockchain, Web3, and cryptocurrency technologies. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that can benefit the company.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex technical solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Prepare and present project proposals, architecture designs, and progress reports.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure solutions comply with all relevant regulations and security standards. Address any security vulnerabilities and ensure robust protection of sensitive data.
• Technical Documentation: Ensure that the product documentation is always up-to-date and accurate.
  
  

Education

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Or equivalent work experience.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, or similar role with a focus on Self-sovereign identity (SSI), Decentralized Identity, Verifiable Credentials, Decentralized Identifiers (DID), Blockchain, and Web3 technologies.
• Strong knowledge of decentralized identity technologies and the digital assets landscape.
• Experience with Microsoft CCF, Hyperledger, Ethereum, or similar Blockchain frameworks.
• Expertise in all aspects of SAAS platforms, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, SecOps and deployment architectures and understanding of how they integrate with Blockchain solutions.
• Significant experience with US Public Sector, specifically with the US Federal government, DoD, and DISA.
• Significant experience in Blockchain security, including knowledge of cryptographic techniques, smart contract security, and best practices in blockchain privacy and security.
• Experience in designing and implementing secure and scalable distributed systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex solutions clearly, intelligently, and passionately to all levels of an organization, including developers, architects, and business leaders.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified Blockchain Solution Architect (CBSA)

• Certified Blockchain Security Professional (CBSP)

Skills That Would Be a Plus

• Blockchain technology, such as Microsoft CCF or Hyperledger experience, is highly desirable
• Knowledge and understanding of Web3 technology
• Good written and verbal communication for effective stakeholder communication
• Great interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and research skills
• An understanding of well-known cryptographic processes
