Job Description
We are currently hiring seasonal Cidery Ambassadors at Angry Orchard Cidery in Walden, NY. We are looking for availability during peak season which is August - December.
The Cidery Ambassador is responsible for representing the Angry Orchard brand, supporting the day-to-day operations of the tour center, providing the highest level of customer service and hospitality to our drinkers, conducting tours, and maintaining cleanliness standards around the Cider House.
What You'll Brew:
Conducting tours and tastings on a regular basis: public, private, paid programing and VIP groups
Responsible for learning and educating guests on our product and Orchard; be able to speak confidently on who we are and what we do
Assisting with all tours: pouring cider, keeping tasting areas organized, answering questions, and basic food handling for cider pairings
Be a brand ambassador for Angry Orchard and the Cider category
Greeting guests to the Tour Center: checking in tour guests, checking IDs, providing directions, etc.
Maintaining all aspects of organization in the Tour Center (rooms, the shop, storage areas, etc)
Assisting in the updating and creation of displays in and around the tour center
Maintaining and assisting in the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the Tour Center, Stone Barn, and Tree House
What Ingredients You’ll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift 50 pounds/regular walking and standing
Must be of legal drinking age
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Weekend shifts required
Previous customer service experience desired
Level: 10
In accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $15 per hour. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for tips received during the worked shift.
