Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engage in the construction and maintenance of both existing and new treatment facilities for water and wastewater.
• Maintain continuous communication and coordination via in-person meetings, phone calls, and emails with clients, designers, and utility representatives to ensure project construction requirements are fulfilled.
• Review project infrastructure designs and facilitate coordination between various trades involved in the project.
• Collaborate with utility and process engineers to ensure smooth execution of the project.
• Identify, map, and resolve conflicts between utilities and project infrastructure in a timely and feasible manner.
• Input utility information into drawings and generate utility layouts and plan sheets for utility relocation designs.
• Input, format, track, and share project data to ensure effective project management and progress tracking.
• Assist in the cost estimation process for civil work involved in the project.
• Document control of project segments and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• EIT certification or pursuing to obtain within 3 months of hire date.
• Experience of a minimum of two to three years in the Civil Engineering/Construction Industry.
• Strong communication skills, scheduling, task management, and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure/some proficiency with Microstation and/or Geopak, or knowledgeable of AutoCAD
• Proficient in MS Office
