The Institutional Securities Technology division (IST) develops and oversees the technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the institutional business and enterprise-wide functions. With a global footprint of around 4,000 resources, sourcing and managing our talent pool whilst responding the business demand is a complex and dynamic challenge.

Our Electronic Trading (MSET) offers global electronic access across cash equities, options and futures. Our electronic trading tools include a broad suite of algorithms, smart order routing and direct market access. The client on-boarding and integration team engages with clients ,vendors, sales, operations and technology to on-board and support Institutional Securities/Prime Services clients globally. The team is responsible for client testing of trades, transfers, swaps, cash wires and SL locates, via multiple channels including FTP/SFPT, FIX, SWIFT, IBM MQ and API.

We are seeking a quality driven creative Client Integration/Onboarding specialist focused around onboarding clients on our Stock Loan platform. The role and responsibility includes: Acting as a point person engaging with clients and vendors for onboarding and connectivity discussion, advise on formats, direct interaction with clients to educate on and demonstrate platform functionality, connection capabilities and expected formats/messages. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and vendors. Working with multiple internal groups and driving tasks through to completion. Keep up to date with latest market reforms and our latest product releases and how our various offering can resolve client needs. Have a strong understanding of all the asset classes and life cycle events. Creates client setups in UAT environment to facilitate testing with clients. Engages with business counterparts , operations and development teams as needs arise. Track and follow-up to ensure timelines are met and keeping all parties updated on progress. Develop solutions that contribute to seamless client integration experience.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience. Ability to diagnose and identify issues with API services, network connectivity, and pro-actively monitor API connections.

Support and manage existing clients

Create and maintain documentation for onboarding process, API specifications, and best-practice procedures for our electronic clients.

Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, team player Strong sense of ownership , attention to detail and accountability of work. Experience with Linux, FIX protocol, SQL, XML, CSV, Shell Scripting, Perl, PGP , FTP/SFTP

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $160,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
