Job Summary

As a Clinical Psychologist in a remote position, you will be responsible for delivering virtual individual and group counseling services to patients with acute mental health conditions. This role involves creating and documenting treatment plans, engaging with TRICARE/DoD beneficiaries, and handling administrative tasks. Collaboration with healthcare professionals and adherence to clinical standards are vital. The role requires a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology, a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience, and holding a current, active, and unrestricted clinical license.

Annual Salary: $110,000-$130,000 based on interview and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual individual and group counseling sessions for patients with acute mental health conditions.
  • Develop and document comprehensive treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
  • Communicate with TRICARE/DoD beneficiaries and offer guidance on TRICARE requirements and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation following standard operating procedures.
  • Assess the need for hospitalization and evaluate fitness for duty.
  • Participate in staff meetings for case discussions, educational purposes, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the organization.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited university or professional school.
  • Completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology.
  • Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience as a Clinical Psychologist utilizing virtual platforms for assessments, treatment planning, and psychotherapy.
  • Possession of a current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice independently.
  • Preferred experience with virtual platforms within the military healthcare system. Experience outside this setting is also acceptable.

Conditions Of Employment

  • Meet credentialing requirements and obtain and sustain clinical privileges.
  • Acquire and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Participate in a two-week training course before commencing telework.
  • Provide a minimum of two professional references along with the resume.
