Position Summary
This position is responsible for maintenance of the equipment used in CNC Production. The job is to fully support production and keep equipment running and in a good state of repair. Responsible for managing the Preventive Maintenance Program and keeping the system in full compliance. This is a key position in ensuring maximum uptime and productivity of the equipment.

Position Summary
This position is responsible for maintenance of the equipment used in CNC Production. The job is to fully support production and keep equipment running and in a good state of repair. Responsible for managing the Preventive Maintenance Program and keeping the system in full compliance. This is a key position in ensuring maximum uptime and productivity of the equipment.
Essential Functions And Duties
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Keep all production equipment running at a high efficiency rate and at maximum productivity
- Establish and perform preventive maintenance program for production equipment that is compliant to the quality system
- Work independently and with minimal supervision
- Maintain and calibrate equipment as needed
- Assist in IQ, OQ, and machine qualifications as needed
- Maintain spare part inventories to ensure high service level
- Perform additional duties / tasks as required by management
- Follows safety rules and maintains personal safety and the safety of others
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Record and report information accurately as required
- Perform job duties in compliance with work instructions
- Adhere to all company policies, work rules and the Straumann Code of Conduct
- Other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
- Observe and hear warning signs and signals within all areas of the company
- Stand, walk and/or sit up to 8 hours a day excluding breaks and lunch
- Occasionally push/pull up to 50 pounds and lift up to 40 pounds
- Repeatedly lift up to 20 pounds
- Turn one’s body, bend down, squat, move hands and upper extremities frequently through the day
- Frequently apply repetitive hand movements
- Wear synthetic gloves for hygiene reasons
- Wear protective eye wear
- Wear protective hearing gear
- Wear toe protection
- Remain focused on small work pieces for extended periods of time
- Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment
- The employee is expected to operate machinery with moving parts
- The employee may occasionally be exposed to dust
- Based on station assignment, the employee may be exposed to water, heat, cured resins, soap and disinfectants
- The noise level in the work environment is consistently moderate
- The employee will work in a fast-paced, team environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years maintenance experience in a high-tech environment
- 5+ years CNC troubleshooting and repair
- 5+ years general machine troubleshooting and repair
- 3+ years of experience in facility and building operations and maintenance
- CAD experience
- Basic knowledge of ISO/GMP regulations and work environment or other regulated industry
- General communication and organization skills
- General knowledge of the tools, methods, and practices used in electrical/mechanical repair and building operations
- Machining experience a plus
- Dental laboratory operations or similar experience
