Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for a College Counselor. This is not a full time equivalent position. The College Counselor will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with providing college counseling services to high school students, including advising on college applications, student financial aid, and student counseling. The College Counselor will also be responsible for tracking and recording student progress and maintaining an accurate student database.
Qualifications
Experience in College Counseling and advising on College applications
Familiarity with Student Counseling principles and practices
Knowledge of Student Financial Aid Programs
Ability to work independently and remotely
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain detailed and accurate student records
Experience with high school students preferred
Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, or related field
5+ years of college admissions experience
