As a Commercial Appraiser at JDC Extraction, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and determining the value of commercial properties in the cannabis industry. You will use your expertise and knowledge in the appraisal process to conduct thorough research, analyze data, and provide accurate and unbiased appraisals for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed research and analysis to determine the market value of commercial properties within the cannabis industry.
Visit and inspect properties to gather relevant information for appraisal purposes.
Utilize various methods, such as cost, income, and sales comparison approach, to calculate the value of properties.
Prepare and submit appraisal reports to clients, providing them with a comprehensive and detailed analysis of the property's value.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in regulations, and market conditions to accurately assess the value of properties.
Communicate and negotiate with property owners and clients in a professional and ethical manner.
Collaborate with other team members to gather necessary data and provide support on complex appraisal cases.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate appraisal.
Knowledge and understanding of the cannabis industry is preferred.
State certification or licensure as a Certified General Appraiser is required.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Proficient in using appraisal software and Microsoft Office.
