Responsibilities
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for
- Managing a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring all client needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Coordinating with the underwriting department to ensure accurate and timely servicing of accounts.
- Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling, and promoting the company's products and services.
- Handling renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and changes in regulations, and advising clients accordingly.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of strategies and processes.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance, account management, and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A sound understanding of commercial insurance products and regulations.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate client needs and provide solutions.
- The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently.
- A professional insurance designation (e.g., CIC, CRM, etc.) would be an asset.
