My client is a leading manufacturer located in the Joliet/Lockport area. My client serves diverse industries such as personal care, household products, automotive, and industrial applications. This position will report directly into the Director of Continuous Improvement and Analytics, and will play a large role in the future growth of the organization.
Job Description
Commercial Pricing Analyst Responsibilities:
Develop and implement pricing strategies for products based on market analysis, cost structures, and competitive positioning.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive pricing actions.
Perform financial analysis to assess the impact of pricing decisions on profitability and sales volume.
Maintain and update pricing databases and tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Prepare and present detailed pricing reports and analyses to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Finance teams to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
Assist in the preparation of customer proposals and pricing agreements.
Identify and implement process improvements in pricing methodologies and systems.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a related role in the manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Advanced Excel Skills
Knowledge of ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
