Are you a Commissions expert looking for an exciting new challenge? Do you have a strategic mindset for ensuring details are correct, commissions released properly and have an eye for details? If so, we have the opportunity for you! We are looking for a Commissions Analyst who will be a key member of the Finance team working very closely with Sales and Revenue Operations.

  • Detail oriented and thorough when reviewing exception details i.e. sales credit vs actual revenue

What you will be doing:

  • Upload compensation details into Xactly Incent
  • Research and respond to questions and issues raised by the sales compensation plan participants
  • Interface with Sales Operations to configure sales compensation components for annual and new hire plans in the Xactly Incent system
  • Work with sales leadership and sales/revenue operations to resolve any compensation related issues
  • Assist in managing monthly and quarterly commissions calculations, and sales incentives
  • Reconcile monthly sales activity to results generated in the Xactly Incent system
  • Support Senior Commissions Analyst in validating the accuracy of monthly and quarterly commission payments
  • Partner with Revenue Operations team to ensure data accuracy and timely processing of commission statements and payouts.
  • Work with accounting in the preparation of commission-related journal entries including amortization schedules in accordance with ASC 606 guidelines, and other personnel related entries
  • Provide headcount related commentary, including, but not limited to compensation, for month end fluxes in preparation of financial review meetings
  • Provide ad hoc compensation reporting and analyses as needed

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2 - 4 years of experience with sales compensation, preferably, in a global tech SaaS company
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with a high level of discretion
  • Experience with journal entries in Netsuite is a plus

Seismic’s annual base salary range for this position will vary based on applicant’s location, experience, job level, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The range listed below is the minimum to the maximum of our target hiring range.

This position is also eligible to participate in Seismic’s incentive plans in addition to base salary. The actual incentive amount will vary and will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the applicable incentive plan.
