Position Overview:

CECP is seeking a motivated candidate for a part-time academic-year internship to assist CECP's Communications team. The Communications Intern will support the events team in the development, planning, and execution of CECP’s virtual roundtables and webinars. The Communications Intern will also support the planning for CECP's annual signature events, including the Board of Boards, CEO Investor Forum, and Summit.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Communications team with day-to-day operations
  • Work with Communications team to develop, execute, and coordinate marketing materials (e.g., content, images, videos) designed for outreach for and promotion of events and reports/insights.
  • Provide logistical support on virtual and signature in-person events--including Board of Boards, CEO Investor Forum, and Summit.
  • Assist Events team with digital logistics and maintenance for events, such as Salesforce data entry, SharePoint maintenance, summary videos, summary reports, and website calendar updating
  • Support marketing calendar by keeping it up to date with CECP social, releases, events, outreach, newsletters, blogs, etc
  • Support social media by creating and scheduling content

Hours, duration and compensation:

  • Part time/15~20 hours a week
  • Location: Remote, work from home
  • Flexible hours: Between 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. EST, Monday – Friday
  • Flexible start date: typically September/October. Needed through end of May 2025
  • Interns are paid an hourly rate of $20.00

This job is for you if you have:

  • Interest in working in a cutting-edge, purpose-driven, and fun work environment!
  • Prior internship, or professional experience
  • The ability to undertake multiple tasks, under time pressure, in a careful, timely manner; the ability to move easily between multiple projects (time management skills)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience and competence in working independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent research, writing, editing, and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Pardot, WordPress, Google Analytics and ZoomInfo
  • Strong skill set and knowledge in Microsoft Office

It’s a plus if you are:

  • Studying hospitality management, communications, public relations, or marketing.
  • Experienced in leveraging e-communications and social networking:
    • e.g., Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc
  • Experience with graphic design/development, and events management software (e.g., Photoshop, Cvent)
  • Experienced in video editing tools
