This role is in person Monday to Thursday in Short Hills, NJ.

The Role

Blue Owl is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join its growing Compliance team. Title will be based on prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Code of Ethics reviews and monitoring, which may include securities account tracking and trade violation reviews
• Management of processes on the firm’s automated Compliance system (ComplySci), which may include: drafting/managing employee certifications, ongoing monitoring of broker account feeds, and reviewing gift and entertainment expenses or political contributions
• Provide support for internal compliance reviews
• Review of email communications
• General compliance tasks as needed, including working with or backing up compliance team members that specialize in other functional areas
  
  

Qualifications

• 0 to 3 years relevant securities compliance experience.
• Understanding of securities laws, rules, and regulations applicable to registered investment advisers and broker dealers is helpful but not required.
• Detail oriented with the ability to assess and prioritize projects.
• Ability to work flexibly on a team.
• Securities licenses (SIE, 7TO and S24) will be expected within 6 months of hire.
• Current, hands-on experience using ComplySci system also helpful but not required.
