Job Description

PrimeLending is currently looking to hire a Compliance Auditor. This position is responsible for conducting periodic reviews of company activities related to Federal and State mortgage regulations and company policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include assessing internal controls, operations, and administrative functions for efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Complete compliance audits of the company to ensure compliance with state and federal and other related regulations and legislation; reports audit results to management
  • Identify and document any discrepancies during audit, escalating issues to management as necessary
  • Assemble necessary information, work papers, and documents
  • Serve on compliance related work groups and committees
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a professional image and adheres to standards consistent with company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned or required


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum 1 year residential mortgage regulatory or compliance experience
  • Understanding of laws and regulations governing residential mortgage lending
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels within the organization
  • Strong detail orientation and analytical skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated judgment and decision making ability
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Displays time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
