Job Title: Computer System Analyst

Job Overview & Responsibilities:
KMS Solutions LLC is seeking a Computer System Analyst to support NSWC Naval Surface Warfare Centre Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA) Systems Engineering which provides support for Integrated Training Systems (ITS) and serves as the Software Support Activity (SSA), In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA), Cybersecurity (Cyber), Safety, Test and Evaluation (T&E), and Readiness support for assigned systems. These system assignments include the hardware, software, subsystems, and elements that comprise the specific system. These activities are conducted in support of the United States (U.S.) Navy, Multi-National and Multi-Agency Naval and Department of Defense (DOD) sponsors. Modelling and Simulation (M&S) is a key capability that supports test and evaluation, training and readiness, and performance assessment. M&S is a core element of this support contract.
General Duties/Experience:

Solve computer problems and apply computer technology to meet the individual needs of an organization.
Define the goals of the system and divide the solutions into individual steps and separate procedures. Typical techniques are structured analysis, data modelling, information engineering, mathematical model building, sampling, and cost accounting.
Specify the inputs to be accessed by the system, design the processing steps, and format the output to meet users’ needs.
Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to help management decide whether implementing the proposed technology will be financially feasible.
After system acceptance, determine what computer hardware and software will be needed to set the system up.
Coordinate tests and observe the initial use of the system to ensure that it performs as planned. Prepare specifications, flow charts, and process diagrams for computer programmers to follow. Work with programmers to debug the system.
Generally, must be proficient in both programming and systems analysis. Work with databases, object-oriented programming languages, client-server applications development, virtualization of capability, and multimedia and Internet technology.
Required Education:
Associate degree in a technical field.
Required Experience:
At least five (5) years professional experience in computer systems analysis, preferably Navy training systems.
Cyber-Information Technology (IT) / Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Basic Level knowledge and skills, at a minimum, with a certification in IA standards and policies.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements:
Holds an active secret or top-secret clearance.
