Compu-Tech, Inc., an IT/Telecom company is Looking to Hire a Motivated Network Technician to service its customers in the Greater Hartford Area.

We provide custom solutions to small businesses, Non-Profit, Schools for all their IT and Telecom requirements. We sell & service major brands of equipment such as Intel, Microsoft, SonicWALL, Netgear, HP, Lenovo, Xerox, and many more. Our telecommunication division supports VoIP-based PBX systems such as Allworx & AT&T and hosted PBX solutions.
What are the skill requirements?
An ideal candidate should be able to set up PCs/Notebooks/Printers on the LAN, be able to configure wired and wireless routers & firewalls, and be able to troubleshoot network-related hardware, software, internet & e-mail issues. Candidate must have the knowledge of setting up and migrating customers from the old to a new server operating system such as the MS-Windows 2016/2019. Proficiency in the Microsoft desktop Microsoft Windows 7 and 10 and Microsoft Office is a must. Knowledge of anti-virus, anti-malware software, and backup software.
An ideal candidate will have excellent communication as well as an organizational skill with a pleasant personality to deal with customers. 3-5 years of experience in network services and helpdesk support is required. A+, CompTIA Network+ and Microsoft certification will help.
