Job Summary:

This role involves leading configuration management activities and managing configurations of nacelles and aerostructures throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide configuration management of nacelle and aerostructure assemblies and components.
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to configuration management plans in support of the design development and production processes.
  • Interface with customers, partners, suppliers, and internal functions to establish configuration baselines.
  • Coordinate and track configuration changes and compliantly process engineering changes.
  • Chair program Configuration Change Boards to review change requests, determine change classifications and impacts to the business, and drive the engineering change process.
  • Execute product processes to ensure configuration control throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Perform and support configuration management audits as required.
  • Generate, control, and maintain documentation of configuration management data relative to configuration changes and audits.
  • Drive team to meet the KPIs for Configuration Management Processes.
  • Review configuration management process effectiveness and efficiency and drive continual process improvement with internal functions as well as with customers and suppliers, to meet product and program requirements.
  • Facilitate and ensure proper implementation of CM process in Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, business, IT or Information/Data Management with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite like Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in a PLM system to manage configurations.
