Your profile:
Education: Master's degree or higher in Geophysics, Geology, or a related field.
Professional experience: 5+ years’ experience in Geosciences and interpretation of subsurface data.
Key Technical Skills: Proficiency in geophysical software and tools, seismic interpretation, data processing, modeling, analytical skills sufficient to analyze complex data sets.
Key Behavioral skills: Creativity, adaptability, delivery, curiosity, team spirit, communication, and commitment.
Other: A desire for international travel or long-term work assignments. Ability to speak or willingness to learn other languages is a plus.

As a geoscientist motivated by large-scale projects, you will join an exploration team in the heart of the Americas Exploration Hub in Houston, TX. You will be part of an experienced multidisciplinary team and have access to a large catalog of internal training courses to improve your skills and develop professionally. You will never be bored here thanks to the rich and ever growing seismic & well database as well as the fast-paced exciting prospect maturation and well preparation work as well as a large and diverse team where you will be able to learn and grow a lot!

As a confirmed geoscientist (geophysicist or geologist) your key responsibilities will be:
- Contribute to identifying the prospectivity of new fields in various geological settings.
- Participate in basin synthesis or in prospect generation/maturation and properly characterize uncertainties.
- Control and ensure the relevance and quality of the data used (wells and/or seismic data)
- Participate/carry out the interpretation of well and/or seismic data, ensuring the representativeness of the results.
- Take part in defining and monitoring specialty studies. Integrate the qualitative and quantitative results.
- Participate in the preparation and monitoring of drilling operations and perform post-mortems.
- Update results and databases.
- Contribute to the capitalization of regional knowledge.
