How Youll Contribute
Gathers, consolidates, and analyzes multiple inputs to develop project proposals including labor and material estimates.
Improves accuracy of proprietary database, updating and refining information and recommending improvements.
Consults with Concare sales manager regarding project margins and details.
Confirms competitiveness of labor and material estimates, monitors consistency of customer pricing.
Creates preliminary project duration plans and estimated work schedules. Creates accurate, readable, annotated floor plans.
Conducts turnover meetings with senior project engineer, lead person and others.
Prioritizes timely completion of proposals, including delivery/presentation to customer.
Completes job hazard analysis and project specific safety plans as required.
Conducts job site inspections.
Required Experience
About YOU!
3+ years work experience in flooring or related construction industry; two yearsas an Estimator for a construction specialty subcontractor preferred.
Associates degree in a related field of study preferred.
Willingness to travel to job sites within a 200-mile radius of Chicago.
MS Office Suite experience required including strong Access and Excel experience.
Estimating software experience preferred and ability to learn our proprietary software.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and project specifications.
Strong customer service focus with excellent interpersonal skills.
