Construction Project Coordinator

Job Description

Summary of the Position:

Manage & complete the company’s project on schedule & on budget, to company’s satisfactory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee new store planning and developments while maintaining cost effectiveness
• Analyze and propose cost-effective investments/returns with the foresight in long-term planning
• Propose creative / effective store layouts to Management and ensure smooth coordination with operations team
• Source and build rapport with suppliers and vendors in the different markets
• Procure and coordinate all the Owner Direct & General Construction works.
• Advise on design and construction of store layouts and identify possible maintenance and repair areas using sound professional knowledge
• Respond to maintenance and repair works promptly, report repair incidents to Management and suggest possible solutions to reduce the frequency of repairs
• Liaise with legal departments for any contractual matters or legal related issues
• Liaise with overseas team to accomplish projects as and when necessary
• Negotiate the cost with contractors
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or Facility Management, or Architectural Design
• At least 3 years of Architect , Design, Construction related experiences in The United States.
• Excellent communication
• Good project management and organization skills
• Able to work independently and exercise flexibility in a challenging and fast paced environment
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Required)
• AUTO-CAD (Required)
• Adobe Photoshop (will be positive)Strong interpersonal skills and ability to display good
  
  

Trip :

• 50% : Meeting with Architect, Contractor, landlord on site.(it may be in out of states)
  
  

Certificates & Licenses:

• California State Driver’s License
  
  

Language Ability:

• Speak, Read and Write English fluently is must
• Japanese bilingual skill will be plus
