SITE SUPERINTENDENT:
Ferrante Koberling Construction, Inc. is a boutique custom construction firm focused on high design luxury-based projects. We are immediately seeking a Construction Site Superintendent with 3 years minimum retail, restaurant, and / or office tenant improvement experience. The right candidate will have on-site project experience with a keen understanding of subcontractor relationships, scheduling, safety/risk mitigation, and quality control.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Aptitude for reading full project drawings; This position requires daily review of all drawings and details for a
thorough understanding of all aspects of any given project.
· Must understand the time-sensitive nature of all construction projects and proactively push schedules and stack
trade work for maximum efficiency.
· Must hold weekly meetings to review schedule, track progress, and address issues before they become problems.
· Must review all installation guides and operations manuals to ensure materials and equipment are installed
properly and warranties are protected.
· Ability to respect project budget and limit purchases.
· Knowledge of and interaction with inspectors, inspections, permitting, testing, and observations.
· Streamline subcontractor work without sacrificing quality; Develop plan of action to make up for any incurred
delays.
· Responsible for uploading of RFI’s, daily reports, and daily photos.
· Develop plan for project staging (job office, dumpsters, portable toilets and sinks, signage, trash, and ash
receptacles, staging area, storage area, fence, and gates).
· Facilitates and maintains all protection of existing and newly installed FF&E to avoid any damage.
· Opens site daily on time; Signs in all persons; Locks up site daily after checking that all persons are gone and site
is cleaned and secured.
· Enforce safety program; Conducts mandatory weekly safety meetings; Issues PPE to guests and visitors; Must
promptly document and report all on-site incidents and accidents.
· Document Control – Maintain all necessary construction drawings and other construction contract documents on
site as required.
· Organizes project; Keep subs accountable for their materials and equipment; Cleans site; Clears potential hazards
(must be willing to pick up trash and use a broom). Makes sure permit set, building cards, deputy reports, and
structural observations are collected and stored safely and in good working order.
· Document all materials and equipment; Accepts and inspects all deliveries; Maintains project inventory.
· Knows quality is the priority and manages each trades install and finish level, accepting only the best work from
each.
· Must be willing to occasionally put in overtime and/or take evening shift if required for noise control.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
· Excellent written and oral communication.
· Professional appearance; Excellent communication skills; Strong knowledge of construction practices, means and
methods.
· Must have valid driver’s license and own a vehicle in good working condition (truck preferred but not required).
· Must be a legal citizen of the United States and fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.
· Must have knowledge of OSHA standards; Willing to obtain and keep current OSHA certification.
· No less than 5 years’ experience working for a General Contractor (provide references).
· Computer literate; Intermediate or above, knowledge of office software (Word; Excel, Outlook); Procore
experience or equivalent.
· Motivated leader; Capable of working independently and in teams.
· Must be able to prioritize and structure workload.
BENEFITS:
1. Salary is based on experience and references; General range is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year.
2. Medical and dental insurance offered after first 90 days of successful employment (Company pays 50% of
monthly premium, pre-tax, through payroll deductions).
