As a Consultant, you will be required to address the following:
Working on international healthcare consulting projects focusing on U.S. and international biopharmaceutical companies
Conducting comprehensive primary and secondary research to help biopharmaceutical clients identify brand differentiation strategies, including researching drug databases and performing analysis of large prescription, claims, and EMR data sets
Researching industry, scientific and medical publications
Performing analytics for biopharmaceutical industry clients, including conjoint analysis, Kano analysis, pricing analysis, market modeling, NPV modeling, and forecasting as well as others depending on client/project
Statistical analysis of large data sets including EMR, prescription and/or medical claims data as model inputs to understand what products are growing or shrinking in prescription volume over time (market model, patient model development)
Performing statistical analysis of survey results for primary research driven projects
Developing financial models for biopharmaceutical clients to evaluate and forecast revenue and product uptake within different channels
Assessing and segmenting the size of specialty pharmaceutical markets within distribution channels, patient demographics, and mode of action by respective product within various therapeutic areas
Consulting with KOLs and experts in selected therapeutic areas for scientific knowledge exchange
Project management of at least one project from start to finish on time, under budget and at international consulting quality standards
Understanding of biopharmaceutical consulting industry code of conduct and regulations
Your background
2-3 years of experience in the job offered or in a management consulting, product management, or business development role in the biopharmaceutical industry
Education: Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field
Education or experience background must include: integrating analytical data to create forecasting/financial models for pharmaceutical products; analyzing consumer behavior and ROI of various distribution channels for pharmaceutical products; conducting market research to identify new market segmentation opportunities for pharmaceutical
