We are seeking a talented and creative Content Manager to join our team. This hybrid role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a knack for crafting compelling copy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the overall content strategy for our multiple brands, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging for both DTC and B2B communication. This involves creating a content roadmap, setting content goals, and implementing a variety of content initiatives. Additionally, this role includes writing optimized product descriptions, packaging copy, blog posts, and email marketing campaigns, as well as managing social media accounts. The Content Manager will work closely with the Head of Marketing, Creative Director, and Director of Digital to align content efforts with broader marketing strategies and maintain our brand voice and integrity.

This is a hybrid office position, candidates for this role will need to live within commuting distance of our Seattle office. Minimum of 2 days in the office, up to 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for all brands, targeting both DTC and B2B audiences
  • Manage and create engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram,TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Write and edit high-quality blog posts, articles, newsletters, and other content that aligns with our brand voice and objectives
  • Craft compelling, optimized product descriptions and packaging copy that highlight key features and benefits
  • Develop copy for email marketing campaigns, ensuring clear and compelling subject lines and engaging content
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing, Creative Director, and Director of Digital to develop and manage a content calendar
  • Write copy for various marketing materials, ensuring a consistent brand voice across all channels
  • Monitor and analyze content performance, using insights to refine and improve future content strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing, social media, email marketing, and SEO
  • Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience
  • Manage content calendars, timelines, and workflows to meet deadlines and project goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in content creation, content management, or a similar role
  • Proven experience creating content for various social media platforms
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong understanding of content marketing principles, email marketing, and SEO best practices
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with project management systems (CMS) and other content management tools
  • Experience writing copy for marketing materials, advertisements, and other promotional content
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a B2B and DTC marketing environment
  • Experience in working with consumer packaged goods
  • Knowledge of graphic design and multimedia content creation
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights platforms
