ROLE:

The Integrated Production Department at Carmichael Lynch is a creatively led team that focuses on craft, efficiency, collaboration, problem-solving and storytelling. We are a talented mix of proactive, curious and kind people who love to use both the left and right sides of our brain.

As a Content Producer, you'll be responsible for the management of day-to-day production needs of small to large-scale branded content, such as TV/Digital/Social films, radio, still shoots, brand activations and branded entertainment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

You'll be a problem-solving partner to the integrated production team, creatives, account management, project management and strategy during creative development and pre-production to understand the scope of a project, create a schedule, manage the budget and bring in potential creative partners.

Alongside your creative cohorts, you'll work closely with external partners such as production companies/directors, photographers, editorial houses, animation/graphics artists, music companies, recording studios and post-production/finishing facilities based on who's best suited for the creative idea as well as the scope/timeline/budget of the project.

You will also work closely with our internal CL Labs studio to produce content both for still and video needs, as well as editorial. This can include scheduling time with the artists and managing the project with the internal studio team. It can also mean collaborating with the studio team and jumping in as needed to help with production support on set.

You'll partner with Business Affairs to identify and manage risk, secure clearance rights, generate production estimates for client approval and cast/budget for SAG talent both on- and off-camera.

You will work closely with Talent Payment Specialists to negotiate all on- and off-camera talent according to SAG rules based on content usage and distribution.

You'll be accountable for managing the production budget, schedule and communication with partners throughout the project. You'll work diligently to solve problems, managing multiple projects without losing sight of the big picture or the smallest production details and stay one step ahead by proactively communicating clearly with your Carmichael Lynch team and clients.

You'll have ownership over the details and logistics of your production. This includes communicating status and next steps clearly to the team, tracking your budget, creating the schedule and production plan, overseeing the bidding and awarding to creative partners, managing the master deliverables and spec list, coordinating meetings and ensuring the job is wrapped and organized according to agency policies.

You'll work closely with creative, project management, business affairs, account management and external partners to build strong relationships based on trust, creative excellence and collaboration.

You will develop and nurture relationships with the production community while staying current on inspirational cultural content, up-and-coming talent and new potential creative partners.
