Job Description

Exciting Opportunity: Direct Hire-On Site Controller

Join our team as a Controller and play a crucial role in our accounting and financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable procedures.
  • Streamline and maintain the company's bookkeeping protocols.
  • Monitor financial budgets and expenditure tracking, generating reports as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and policies.
  • Reconcile statements related to landfill operations.
  • Undertake general administrative duties including filing, data entry, phone correspondence, and mail processing.
  • Prepare financial reports when required.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of financial information.
  • Execute transactions, issue payments, and update financial records.
  • Support audit processes, conduct fact-checking, and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
  • Possess a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficient in computer operations and skilled in bookkeeping software, including MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and QuickBooks.
  • Knowledgeable about fundamental accounting principles.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and both verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Uphold professional standards and adhere to ethical codes.
  • Display adeptness in multitasking and prioritizing responsibilities.
