What You’ll Do
The Controller will provide timely and accurate financial information to company leadership and oversee financial operations. This includes implementing and monitoring financial controls, managing financial transactions, and preparing financial statements and reports.
Responsibilities
Overseeing all financial transactions and ensuring proper documentation and recording
Implementing and monitoring financial controls to minimize risk and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and preparing financial statements and reports
Preparing and analyzing budgets and financial forecasts to support business decision-making
Monitoring cash flow, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing
Collaborating with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with financial reporting and tax requirements
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning and business growth initiatives
Managing and developing a team of financial professionals
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA designation or equivalent certification
Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial management or accounting role, including experience with financial reporting and analysis
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, and regulatory requirements
Experience managing and developing a team
Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
