Are you actively open to learning about new fun and exciting opportunities? I am assisting a client source for a Divisional Controller to add to their growing team. A little about the organization, it’s a newly created role with a mix of accounting, finance, and business partnerships, extremely successful leadership team and PE group with a history of success scaling companies, opportunity to join growth company in early stage and e a part of a build out. This role has a lot of exposure to a PE firm and opportunities that arise at other portfolio companies. Both CFO and Controller have had successful stints together in the past.
The Division Controller will be based in Chicago and report directly to the Corporate Controller. The position will ensure timely deliverables of month-end close, financial reporting, and tax compliance and will also be a leading force in the integration of add-on acquisitions into the accounting infrastructure.
Must Haves:
7+ years of experience (10+ ideal)
Multi-entity retail or similar accounting close and reporting leadership experience
Preferred:
Public accounting foundation
CPA
Work with a PE owned organization
Listed below are a few of the qualities that they are looking for:
Responsible for overseeing and ensuring daily and monthly accounting activity is recorded accurately and timely
Supervision of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process along with preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements in compliance with GAAP and in accordance with lender and financial sponsor reporting requirements
Be responsible for financial analysis and financial performance
Review of bi-weekly payroll
