Controller

We're on the lookout for an Operations / Plant Controller to work for one of our clients in Clemmons, NC. This is a great role to work at their Flag Ship plant. In this role you will act as a financial business partner to Plant Operations Team and will be highly visible throughout the company! This is an on-site position 5 days a week working at the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Has overall controllership / analysis responsibility for the plant which generates over $500M
• You will be focused on financial controls, planning, financial reporting and cost optimization.
• This role is also business partner for the central distribution center in another state
• GL, Month End, Financial Forecasting, Variance, Strengthening Internal Controls, Plant Controller duties
• You will prepare and complete the annual budget and quarterly forecast for the manufacturing facility and distribution warehouse. Facilitate LOH costs.
• Manage the Month end closing process – production, inventory, payroll, expense accruals etc.
• Analysis of monthly variances - spending, absorption, scrap, material usage and price
• Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
• KPI’s for manufacturing and operations, from a finance and accounting perspective

Qualifications:

• CPA preferred
• Degree in Accounting OR Finance
• 8 + years of related experience experience
• Lean Manufacturing background preferred.
• ERP experience is required
• Experience in Cost Accounting, Variance Analysis, P&L and GL work is also required
• Experience in environments of continuous flow production and manufacturing from raw materials is a plus
• B. S. in Accounting or Finance

Compensation:

• 140-145K Base + 15% Bonus + Great Benefits
