Aggressively growing organization headquartered in the Clearwater/Tampa area is looking to bring in an established and experienced Controller with strong leadership and process improvement experience. This is high visibility role reporting to CFO and Executive team!
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing all the accounting functions including month-end close and financial reporting
Supervise, coach, mentor and review the work of the accounting staff
Responsible for the timely and accurate monthly general ledger close and reporting of all monthly financial information for all the divisions and entities
Design and implement internal controls
Supports budget and forecasting activities
Assists with company cash flow reporting
Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
10+ years professional accounting experience
3+ years supervisory experience
