As our client’s Controller, you will be pivotal in driving change, managing a large accounting team, and scaling the company's operations. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the financial direction and growth of a pre-revenue company with a $6 billion market cap.

~ Top Requirements of the Controller ~

• Proven experience at a public company with a similar market cap
• Background in a Big 4 accounting firm
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Extensive experience in larger companies and managing managers
• Bio Tech experience is a plus but not required
• Willingness to work in the office 2-3 days a week

~ What You'll Do as a Controller ~

• Lead and manage a team of 14, including Assistant Controller, Director of Accounting, SEC, and Treasury
• Drive and manage change processes to help scale the company
• Evaluate team strengths and weaknesses to optimize roles and responsibilities
• Implement process improvements, ERP systems, and automation initiatives
• Strategically align and optimize accounting operations for efficiency and growth
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and leadership to drive strategic initiatives

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a large team
• Proven track record in driving change and optimizing accounting functions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with 2-3 days in the office
