Prioritized Must Have Skills For The Controls Engineer

#1. Five (5) or more years working in at least three (3) of the following service areas: Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Polymers/Resins compounding, and Manufacturing.

#2. BSEE or MSEE (ABET Accredited), or equivalent engineering discipline.

#3. Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Engineer

#4. Strong work ethic and team player attributes

#5 Application experience in controls and instrumentation is required

#6 Design and simulation of control systems

Experience Preferred

#1 Embedded C programming

#2 ARM Cortex M series processor development

#3 Understanding of electronic systems at the circuit board level

#4 National Instruments Data Acquisition Hardware

#5 National Instruments LabVIEW Software

#6 National Instruments TestStand Software

#7 Hazardous Location Machine Design, including North American as well as European Standards

#8 Custom control algorithm development and implementation
