Overview

Due to growth, we are adding an Accreditation Coordinator to our Lumicera Quality department!

Lumicera is looking for an Accreditation Coordinator that will support our pharmacy accreditation program(s) requirements. This role will collaborate with pharmacy teams at multiple locations throughout the country to ensure understanding and compliance with processes that satisfy accreditation requirements. Lumicera is looking for a candidate that is curious, organized, has an eye for process improvement, the drive to lead efforts for improvement, and willing to work with teams to ensure the harmony of daily process meeting accreditation program requirements .

Under general direction of the Quality Manager the person employed as an Accreditation Coordinator works with Lumicera Health Services Specialty Pharmacy and our Health System Pharmacy partners staff to coordinate and monitor quality initiatives and accreditation programs . The Accreditation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Lumicera’s quality and compliance activities related to accrediting bodies (URAC, ACHC, etc ). This position aides in developing a culture focused on patient safety while ensuring optimal pharmacy operations . The Accreditation Coordinator assists in the organizing documentation of quality related programs adhering to governing and accreditation bodies. This individual is able to manage documentation as it pertains to potential improvements in a way that utilizes known quality assurance tools and proactively manages outcomes. The Accreditation Coordinator position required extensive document creation, maintenance, inventory control, and quality review and required an extreme attention to detail and advances written communication skills.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team ?

  • Coordinates preparation of the current accreditation applications, maintains documentation to demonstrate compliance with accreditation standards and assists with on-site reviews.
  • Coordinates activities and maintains up-to-date resources of the Quality Program and quality performance, improvement, outcome management, and member safety.
  • Coordinates and/or participates in interdepartmental and intradepartmental quality and compliance programs and committees.
  • Annotates and maintain policies and procedures related to quality oversight including, but not limited to, audit procedures, claims monitoring and validation, quality metrics, analytics, and quality performance goals.
  • Collects and prepares quality performance metrics to be reported at governance committees.
  • Executes audit process to ensure Lumicera compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Aids in implementing new accreditations and/or updated standards when published and assists the responsible area in implementing change within required timeframes .
  • Assists functional owners with documenting and managing action plans if processes do not comply with requirements, including timeframes and specific actions required for compliance.
  • Assists with preparation of the annual Quality Management Program Descriptions
  • Ensures the accurate reporting of all quality errors and initiatives as defined by the overarching quality program and assists in maintaining the Lumicera Quality intranet site.
  • Assists with collecting root cause analysis of errors and assists in developing and implementing corrective actions or rapid process improvement plans.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • High School or GED required . Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Computer skills required with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of policies, procedures and guidelines required to meet regulatory/accreditation agencies requirements
  • Project management skills; demonstrates sound documentation and file management techniques which keeps projects on task, support success, and proactively identify issues.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
