The Sports Brand Solutions group is a team of experts that provide creative marketing sponsorship and integration opportunities across ESPN’s vast content portfolio. The team is responsible for the sponsorship process including, but not limited to, strategy, ideation, and execution.

The primary function of the team is to generate and maximize revenue across our robust multimedia programming, working closely with Disney Ad Sales, ESPN Production/Programming, and Advertisers.

Job Summary:

We have 3 open roles.


  • One Coordinator, Sports Brand Solutions, will be responsible for supporting our sponsorship business specifically for women’s sports properties including College Basketball, WNBA, NWSL, espnW, and more.
  • One Coordinator, Sports Brand Solutions, will be responsible for supporting our sponsorship business specifically for key properties such as SportsCenter, Get Up, First Take, Pardon the Interruption, Around the Horn, and The Pat McAfee Show.
  • One Coordinator, Sports Brand Solutions, will be responsible for supporting our sponsorship business specifically for key properties such as ESPYS, NHL, F1, UFC/Boxing, Tennis, and select special initiatives.


The primary role will be to work with various internal teams to schedule and book on-air and digital/social sponsorships for all programming related to assigned properties. This includes but is not limited to Live Event Programming, Studio Shows, and Digital/Social Handles.

The Coordinator will play a key role in creating and maintaining grids for each property to ensure proper allocation for each program and all digital/social sponsorship.

Ultimately, the responsibilities will be to keep order and process across all sponsorship efforts, streamlining all areas of the business from pitch through execution.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:


  • Post Sale
    • Book features within Disney Ad Sales/ESPN systems (managing the process directly with the sales teams and their clients)
      • Communicate with TV Ad Ops any schedule changes and updates
    • Manage Sponsorship tracking grids for the SBS team to maintain a clear perspective on integration availability and potential content overlaps to consider in given windows that impact production and sales conversations
    • View and clip integrations to confirm accuracy, share with sales teams, and elevate any issues
    • Assist Manager in the creation, delivery, and maintenance of sponsored graphics and studio requests
  • Sales Materials
    • Assist in developing sales opportunities for assigned properties
      • Assist with digital and social product creation
      • Assist with multimedia pricing requests
  • Support the ideation process for new opportunities
    • Upload/Update materials across Cantina, Sharepoint and SalesHub
    • Communicate opportunities to Sales utilizing organization-wide processes


  • Streamline Communication and Transparency
    • Manage status reports, meeting recap notes, etc.
    • Assist with the upkeep and distribution of weekly obligations across the sport vertical (includes ESPN production, programming, comms, ops, etc.)
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GoogleDocs
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required, marketing or sponsorship experience preferred
  • Highly organized, time management skills, ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with the desire to do whatever it takes
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and/or occasional travel

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $53,600- $73,700 and in Santa Monica, CA is $52,400- $70,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
