Roles And Responsibilities
Drive customer perception that Callaway Golf is the #1 brand in golf.
Manage staff newsletter communications
Find creative ways to drive engagement & highlight the benefits of being a member of Callaway staff
Support of the Club Champion Ambassador Program
Maintain and update the staff list daily to ensure accurate reporting
Release staff orders daily based on the current staff contract on file
Support fitting & training events throughout the year, as needed
Responsible for order placement and customer relations of Proponent accounts in North America
Provides program support for SOS, including some travel
Assist in order placement and monitoring of SOS event orders with Callaway, Perry Ellis, Travis Mathew, and Ogio
Support Long Drive program initiatives
Coordinates development and prototyping of LD driver on multi-year lifecycles
Responsible for LD head vendors and accounts
Coordinate Adaptive Team planning, events, and staffers
Assist with Strategic Staff coordination and development
Responsible for communicating new product launches to accounts and partners
Assist other sales, fitting, staff, and marketing functions
Establish timely, regular, and consistent communication of the company’s products and initiatives to all Strategic Partners
Host staffers and partners at Carlsbad HQ
Responsible for explaining the features and benefits of Callaway’s past and current product lines
Make decisions regarding warranty and non-warranty issues
Process SAP transactions, including sales orders
Respond to inquiries from accounts and consumers regarding the status of sales and customer service orders.
Troubleshoot account and consumer problems as well as UPS tracking/follow-up.
Stay up to date on current industry events and trends.
Demonstrate the use of good customer service skills to provide excellent customer experience in every interaction.
Be ready and willing to take on special projects and training as assigned and to complete those projects with thoroughness and accuracy.
Strong understanding of Callaway Golf sales systems
Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to manage demanding customers and build and maintain customer relationships.
Strong understanding of Callaway Golf Club fitting protocol
Strong knowledge of golf equipment, both Callaway and competitors
Thorough knowledge of Callaway Golf custom club fitting methods and impact on the playability of customization or alteration requests
Basic knowledge in SAP-Sales Inquiry, order entry, and processing return authorizations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Must be a skilled golfer, which adds credibility to the consumers’ viewpoint.
Must be highly dependable in attendance. Our work environment requires punctuality and attendance that meets or exceeds company standards.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Windows and applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Analytical, meticulous, flexible, and decisive
Must have a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 2 years golf industry experience
Two years of sales/customer service experience
Two years of fitting experience preferred.
Previous experience in either a retail or golf operation, including interaction with customers preferred.
