Summary

The Corporate Accountant will be a member of the Montage International Accounting and Finance team performing critical accounting and reporting activities, related to month end close activities (e.g. posting journal entries, amortizing prepaids, fixed asset accounting and balance sheet reconciliations), preparing and sending invoices for reimbursables and subsequent cash collections, assisting with the administration of our corporate purchasing card program and certain treasury functions such as cash transfers and cash management. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills as well as have a collegiate level knowledge of accounting and finance concepts.

Essential Functions

Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform the daily reconciliation of corporate cash accounts to ensure proper accounting and recording of all incoming/outgoing cash transactions
  • Perform certain treasury functions to prepare cash transfers and cash fundings as required by the business
  • Generate and deliver accurate and timely reports, including but not limited to outstanding A/R aging reports, Fixed Asset Roll-forward, invoicing reports, balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in servicing the corporate gift card program through fulfillment of orders and handling customer service calls
  • Serve as an internal finance advisor to provide department level P&L results and details to assist in managing departmental expenses
  • Serve as administrator for company T&E expense report system
  • Provide various Ad-hoc financial reports to finance leaders and others as requested
  • Assist Hotels/Resorts with monthly account reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Ability to perform other duties as required

Qualifications

  • 4 year accredited college degree required, undergraduate degree in accounting/finance preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Excel, Word & Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience in Great Plains or other general ledger system is preferred but not required.
  • Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task with moderate supervision.

The pay scale for the Corporate Accountant is from $65,000.00 - $68,000.00. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
