Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Counsel, the Corporate Counsel will provide legal support across various functions of the company, with a focus on supporting global revenue contracting, commercial dispute management, and collections. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex legal matters, providing strategic advice, and representing the company in various legal proceedings.

  • Dispute Resolution: Handle and resolve commercial disputes involving the company.
  • Litigation Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of litigation in-house and manage outside counsel as appropriate.
  • Collections: Develop and implement strategies for the effective collection of outstanding debts, including initiating legal action when necessary.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including SaaS agreements, software licensing, procurement contracts, and NDAs.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including data privacy and security standards.
  • Legal Tech Stack: Utilize and manage legal technology tools to streamline legal processes and improve efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including sales, finance, and product development, to provide legal guidance and support.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with a focus on dispute resolution, litigation, and collections and a strong foundation in commercial contracts.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
