Who We’re Looking For - Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, we are in search for a Corporate Counsel who will be instrumental in supporting MANSCAPED® legal initiatives. This role will work with departments across the company to handle a broad range of legal issues and support Legal Department initiatives. This role will develop hands-on experience with commercial contracts, intellectual property, brand protection, privacy and data security, and compliance. We are searching for someone with strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. The right person will have an insatiable desire to learn and is able to take direction and training from the Legal Department team.

Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate commercial contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, insertion orders, sponsorships, and influencer agreements
  • Collaborate with Legal, Product Development, Creative/Marketing teams, and outside counsel on intellectual property registration, prosecution and maintenance, and overall brand protection
  • Review and monitor advertising and marketing materials for legal compliance and provide guidance to Creative/Marketing teams on current and future marketing campaigns and strategy
  • As requested, provide support to other members of the Legal Department in the execution of their responsibilities, including issues related to compliance, labor & employment, litigation, and privacy
  • Generate and maintain various reports and tracking documents
  • Other duties as required


Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate degree required
  • 3+ years of legal experience within an in-house legal department or law firm
  • Licensed with a State Bar in the U.S.
  • Highly motivated and independent self-starter; comfortable learning new legal areas and skills
  • Ability to distill and succinctly communicate complex ideas to support internal clients in making difficult decisions
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
