Who We're Looking For

Marketbridge is on the lookout for a dynamic Corporate Development Associate to identify and execute new acquisition opportunities, playing a crucial role in our strategic expansion. This position demands a proactive approach to deal sourcing, both on and off-market, and includes supporting due diligence and integration activities post-LOI and closing. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our private equity sponsor, as well as internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and company CEO, to efficiently manage the acquisition pipeline and ensure seamless transitions from deal conception to full integration.

Responsibilities

  • Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Proactively source and assess potential acquisition targets; maintain engagement with investment bankers to secure and evaluate Confidential Information Memorandums; conduct preliminary assessments and engage in initial discussions with potential targets
  • Strategic Market Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends and market opportunities, leveraging senior leadership team insights and proprietary networks to identify strategic acquisition prospects. Update and maintain a comparative analysis deck to benchmark against industry movements and peer acquisitions
  • Transaction Execution: Facilitate the drafting of LOIs in partnership with PE team; project-manage and oversee the due diligence process post-LOI, ensuring comprehensive evaluation and preparation of acquisition-related documentation and processes
  • Integration and Project Management: Coordinate with the integration team to ensure effective post-acquisition integration, adhering to strategic objectives and operational benchmarks, and managing cross-functional project timelines and milestones
  • Reporting and Communication: Regularly update and report on deal pipeline and acquisition progress to the C-suite and broader stakeholder groups, including private equity sponsors and financial partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for a focus in finance or accounting
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in corporate development, transaction advisory, private equity, or investment banking
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with business founders and senior executives
  • Strong analytical skills and the capability to synthesize complex information
  • Highly detail-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience or familiarity with the marketing services and consulting sectors is appreciated

This role is remote, but our ideal candidate is able to work EST hours. The salary for this role is $80,000 & is bonus eligible up to 25%.
