Are you a detail-oriented accountant looking to make a real impact from the comfort of your home? Join our dynamic team as a Remote Corporate Staff Accountant, where you'll play a vital role in managing financial operations and ensuring accuracy in all accounting activities.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage Financial Operations: Handle accounts payable, expense reimbursements, and other key accounting tasks with precision.
Ensure Compliance: Monitor internal controls, address compliance issues, and reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial data.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and post journal entries, assist with month-end and year-end closings, and generate comprehensive financial reports.
Improve Processes: Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and operations, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
Maintain Records: Keep financial records up-to-date in QuickBooks, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other transactions.
Collaborate: Work independently and with your team to meet deadlines and support financial operations.
What You'll Need to Have
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 years in an accounting or finance role, with hands-on experience in financial reporting and journal entries.
Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
What We'd Love for You to Have
Industry Experience: Experience in the healthcare industry or a similar field.
Additional Skills: Knowledge of other financial software, CPA certification or progress towards it, and experience with process improvement and project management.
Software Experience: Familiarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Expensify, and/or BILL.com.

Compensation
The annual salary for this role ranges from $74,000 to $79,000, with bi-weekly pay. Compensation is based on factors such as skills, experience, education, location, and certifications.
