Cost Control Specialist

Our client operates refineries across the US, offering gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, specialty lubricant products, and specialty and modified asphalt.

They are looking for someone to support the capital projects cost controls over the next several years (could be a long-term contract position) in Anacortes, WA for a long-term contract.

The company has a portfolio that consists of 50-70 projects that is currently handled by one person at site and they would like to find a way to split off a large portion of the work to where the chosen candidate can take more of the load and allow the senior cost controller to focus on larger projects and portfolio metrics.

Job responsibilities:

Setting up new projects based on control estimate

forecasting based on engineering schedules

forecasting based on contractor projects and schedules.

generating details for PO requisitions

working with individual project managers to develop monthly and yearly cost projections

Skills required:

Minimum 5 Years experience working in manufacturing environment - Refining a plus

MS Office

Excel

SAP
