- A maker and manager, you’ll mentor and motivate a talented team of UX designers, while designing often, too.
- Beyond your immediate team, you’ll foster a close, productive partnership with your Creative Team colleagues, along with the Marketing, Product and Engineering Teams, among other Klaviyo; you’ll work daily with our web team to drive toward exceptional experiences as we scale our website, while championing best practices and strategic vision with Klaviyo leadership
- Serve as a creative lead for ongoing, audience-specific integrated marketing initiatives
- Create and scale the next generation of our foremost format: the website. You’ll drive the design of a compelling, clear journey across our web, featuring our hero characters: the people (our customers) and the product (Klaviyo, of course).
- Manage and improve a regularly updated scalable design system that ensures consistency across all digital touchpoints
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of UX initiatives.
- Oversee regular user research initiatives to foster an ongoing feedback loop; understand user behavior, needs and challenges and deliver experiences to exceed their expectations
- Deliver stunning, educationally impactful creative that delivers on our product positioning and clearly explains our product offering.
- Lead internal teams to develop impactful creative experiences and executions that deliver on the brand vision and promise.
- Partner closely with Product and Product Design to ensure a consistent brand experience across all Klaviyo products and platforms.
- Bold. Ambitious. Proven, yet ever-improving. Empathetic. You thrive in fast-paced, often complex environments where stakeholder engagement, management (and yes, healthy debate) are in your wheelhouse.
- Experience* in recognizing patterns and avoiding pitfalls; in seeing the required change quickly, galvanizing teams to act, and delivering on the vision.
- Worked for a SaaS brand, idealing both B2B and B2C
- Strong foundational understanding of UX design from an engineering perspective; proven ability to achieve successful design systems aligned to a multi-year roadmap
- Customer/audience centricity drives you, and you keep accessibility and inclusivity top of mind, always.
- Led the re/design of major, high-trafficked, high-performing websites; you can tell us how and why the work was successful
- Grew up in graphic design and continue to grow within the discipline
- A pixel-perfect person, who’s obsessed with fonts, palettes, and consistency
- Continuously curious and passionate about sharing your latest learnings with others
- Eager to evolve and improve, both the work in front of you and yourself.
- 10+ years as Creative/UX Director level or higher; at a creative/ad agency or in-house creative/UX team, designing thoughtful, effective experiences across websites and digital products.
