Description
Resource Manager
We are seeking an experienced, detail oriented leader who will drive traffic management and backlog planning, making sure that our marketing projects, teams, and resources are sequenced at just the right time to ensure successful delivery. This role will be responsible for planning, implementing, and tracking creative resources, while staying on top of project and campaign progress. They will keep delivery on track at all times while proactively identifying capacity risks and solutions along the way. This role demands organization, attention to detail, adaptability, and a diplomatic touch. The Resource Manager gets things done, and doesn’t hesitate to communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Required Skills And Qualifications
5+ years project management, resource management, and/or digital or eCommerce management experience.
Must have a full understanding of creative and design workflows, with familiarity with digital or eCommerce site merchandising
Experience managing multiple projects and resources with competing priorities. Ability to navigate a complex organizational structure and identify priorities with stakeholders
Exceptional time management and anticipatory skills
Self-motivated and proactive in communicating and solving-problems. Isn’t afraid to Dive Deep and live within the details
Experience with Workfront and a Digital Asset Management (DAM) tool

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day creative capacity and workflows across the org, utilizing Workfront as the intake and resource management tool. Know the details of what everyone is working on and when there may be ‘down time’
- Oversee the ingestion of all creative requests across the NASM org via Workfront Intake assessing each request, gathering inputs and assigning out to appropriate creative owners
- Collaborate with Creative Program Managers of various marketing verticals to estimate, schedule, and track resources to project milestones effectively. Identify specific individuals against the project plans from CPMs
- Ensure resources are strategically assigned to complete projects, tracking and building skillsets and subject matter expertise with the relevant manager
- Maximize productivity among creatives, achieving an average of 90% utilization throughout the year
- Responsible for recruiting and hiring freelance resources for projects when needed
- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Experience in multi-territory campaign management
- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
